Meet Dr Fensuny Chan (Dentist)
Dr Chan was inspired to become a dentist, as teeth play an integral part in everyone’s life. “Not only do beautiful teeth make people look aesthetically pleasing, but healthy teeth allow a person to chew food to provide their body with good nutrition. Being able to provide healthy and attractive teeth can change someone’s life.”
She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, particularly in orthodontics and oral surgery, and loves to give patients a healthy, functional and aesthetically pleasing smile. Dr Chan is a big believer in preventative dentistry, recognising that prevention is better than cure.
Education & Professional Development
Dr Chan graduated from the University of Sumatera Utara (Indonesia) in 2012 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). She has additional qualifications:
- Fellow of International College of Continuing Dental Education (FICCDE) in Progressive Orthodontics System (POS)
- Member of the Australian Dental Association
- Associate of London Music College (ALCM)
In addition to courses in POS, Dr Chan has taken continuing education in Invisalign treatment and ClearCorrect, both of which she can provide to patients.

Outside the Practice
In her spare time, Dr Chan enjoys playing piano, exploring new places and different cuisines with her family, which includes a young daughter and son. She particularly loves Japanese food and exploring nature.
